Workshops for Parents

Do you know a small group of parents that would like strategies for preschoolers and beginning writers that you can do at home? Topics can be individualized for your group.  

Suggested topics are:

• Fine motor,self help skills and handwriting developmental milestones- Strategies to promote your child’s fine motor and prewriting skills
• Readiness for Handwriting or Kindergarten Readiness: make sure your child has the pre-writing skills necessary to succeed!!
• PE for the Hands: Activities to promote fine motor skills, prewriting & handwriting abilities; fine motor warm-up activities/station ideas are provided.
• Fundamentals of handwriting/tips to improve your child’s handwriting-body awareness, what’s in a capital, starting letters at the top, you have to teach pencil grip
